Comment # 1 ( I have tried other brands but it never worked, I f, Canada ) Rating: I have tried other brands but it never worked, I found this miracle worker and didnt think that something so cheap would work, but I tried it anyway. I LOVE IT! It works really fast, and my lips never crack or bleed. The stuff is a little gooey, but you have to wash your hands after applying any ointment to a cold sore anyway. Goes away in about 2-4 days

I brought lysine hoping that it will prevent my cold sore from getting worst and yes.. its getting worst. It does nothing for the tingling and pain. We'll see what happens..
