I received my order in a timely manner and am very happy with my purchase. You seem to have the human touch which to be honest, seems to be disappearing from a lot of companies I've dealt with lately

Optimum Nutrition Flaxseed Oil 1000mg 100 softgels

All of our daily fat consumption should come from foods that contain healthy fat. Unfortunately, there are not many food sources that provide healthy fats. Essential fatty acids are healthy fats, our body needs these fats to function properly, yet it doesn't produce it on its own. This makes essential fatty acids an important part of your diet. Luckily though, there is a solution... flax seed oil. It is completely safe to take on a daily basis. It has no negative side effects. It does however have a ton of positive heath benefits:

  • Provide essential fatty acids
  • Protects against heart disease
  • Aids the growth of healthy hair and nails
  • Reduces the risk of cancer
  • Helps lower cholesterol
  • Helps lower blood pressure
  • Promotes healthy skin
  • COLD-PRESSED Omega-3 Fatty Acids
  • 50% ALA Content
  • 1,000 mg of Flaxseed Oil

Optimum Nutrition's Flaxseed Oil Softgels are produced from oils that have been carefully extracted without the use of hexane or added heat. This cold extraction process helps to preserve the delicate chemical structure of Omega-3, Omega-6 and Omega-9 fatty acids that are so naturally rich in Flax seeds.

What is the difference between brown flax seed and golden or yellow flax seed?
No, Brown flax seeds provide the same nutritional benefits as golden (or yellow) ones. Both brown and golden flax seeds contain more than 50 per cent alpha-linolenic acid and have plenty of lignans and dietary fibre. I’m currently taking a prescription medication. Can I still take flax products?

This is in keeping with the advice of experts who advise patients to consult their physicians before making any changes to their diet.
