Jarrow Formulas uses inulin from chicory which is a source of FOS to encourage the growth of beneficial bacteria. Jarro-Dophilus + FOS survives stomach acid and implants. FOS are natural carbohydrates that enhance replication of beneficial bacteria.

Ingredient Details:Probiotic Bacteria 3.36 Billion Organisms: Lactobacillus rhamnosus R-011 20% 672 Million, Lactobacillus casei R-256 20% 672 Million, Lactobacillus plantarum R-202 10% 336 Million, Lactobacillus acidophilus R-052 20% 672 Million, Bifidobacterium longum BB536 (Morinaga) 20% 672 Million, Bifidobacterium breve R-070 10% 336 Million. TOTAL 100% 3.36 Billion. FOS (FructoOligoSaccharides) 210 mg, Vitamin C 1 mg. Other ingredient: Maltodextrin.

Expert Advice:Each Jarro-Dophilus + FOS 280 mg capsule contains: 6 species of the hardiest of the Lactobacilli and Bifidobacteria at a potency of 10-15 Billion per gram at time of manufacture. Each non-dairy capsule contains approximately 3.36 Billion organisms.

Suggested Use:Take 1 to 3 capsules per day with unchilled water, or dissolve capsule in mouth, 20-60 minutes after eating, or as directed by your qualified health consultant. For infants and children, open capsule and pour contents into water or over food.

Cautions:Keep In refrigerator or freezer. Capsule consists of gelatin. Contains NO common allergen. Note: color of product naturally varies from white to tan.

Great Product! "This is a great product to use after you have been on antibiotics. The antibiotics kill the bad bacteria in your system and unfortunately the good bacteria also. By taking this pro-biotic, it puts the good flora back into your system to help build your good bacteria up to healthly levels. I have also found the Jarro-dophilus works to restore your body back to normal after a bout with diarrhea. I have used Jarrow products for years and this is one I always have in the house."

Best Product of its kind on the market This is the best probiotic on the market, in my opinion. Its only downside is that it must be refrigerated, making online purchases difficult. However, one gets the best price online, so it's worth the price of shipping for the convenience. Health food stores in my area charge up to $10 more for this product than healthsuperstore. Thanks for passing your savings along to your customers!

Best Deal on Web "Great product from Jarrow with great price from healthsuperstore. I have use this product for a while and it works great! This is so far the best deal I have got with this product. I will always buy this. "This is by far, the most effective probiotic I have ever used. You can feel a difference within days, you will become more regular, less gasey and your immunity increases... All scientifically researched and documented benefits of these particular strands. The fact that it has FOS in it, makes it even better. It delivers the microorganisms AND the food they need ot survive (the FOS)."
