  • Keep yourself well-hydrated by drinking lots of water. It removes toxins from your body and metabolize the food properly.
  • Keep yourself healthy by maintaining a healthy and balanced diet. That will include more veggies, fruits, nuts and healthy snacks and cutting on your caffeine, sugar and carbs.
  • Keep yourself active by exercising regularly. Even half an hour of rigorous exercise improves the blood circulation that increases the delivery of oxygen to the body and thus to the skin. Exercise also releases endorphins that makes you feel good and relieves stress.

  • With excessive wrinkles, you can also choose surgical procedure for face lift. Do remember, it is both invasive and expensive procedure but with good results.

How do I get rid of blackheads?

Blackheads are formed when the oil producing glands in the skin produce too much oil and then it gets collected in the skin pore. As the oil hardens, the blackhead is formed. Since the top is exposed to air, it dries out faster and turns black.

  • Avoid oily foods, instead switch to vegetables and fruits.

  • Place a warm compress over the area to soften both the skin and the oil. Using the gloves or a clean cloth, gently try to squeeze the blackhead out. Soften the area again if its hard to take it out.
  • Use a good commercial blackhead extractor available too. Read the instructions and label carefully before using it.
