When it all comes down to fat burning or gaining weight for that matter, most people use a regular bathroom scale to help them determine if they are losing weight. This is not the way to do it.
Primarily there are three effective ways to measure if a fat burner is working for you or not, they include:
- Body Fat Scales: Home version. There are many versions of the body fat analyzers on the market. They all claim to be able to measure your body fat percentage very quickly with zero hassle. And for the most part they do work.
- Skin fold Callipers: These are much like very big tweezers. Callipers are used to hold on to your folds of skin at about 8 specific points on your body to measure the thickness. This is not the best method to use in determining if certain fat burning pills are working for you.
- Hydrostatic Weighing: This consists of underwater weighing. Basically, you sit on a scale inside a tank of water with big tubes in your mouth, your nose clamped and blow out as much air as you can. You are submersed completely.
