This thing works The chocolate one will work even better for losing weight. This one is good for a meal. Great formulas. Way better than coffee to pick you up.

If you like peanut butter fudge.... "I liked the Peanut Butter Crunch bars by GOL. I found they had enough protein to keep my energy up and to keep hunger away when I used them as a breakfast substitute on the road. The taste reminded me of peanut butter fudge (but not as sugary). They tasted less "figgy" than the Chocolate Macadamia bars by GOL which made them more appealing to my better half. Overall, I found them to be good to have on hand when I was in a rush, and a nice alternative to a hotel deluxe continental breakfast!"

Taste and texture are awful "I design nutritional plans for my patients and wanted to see if I could find a fucoxanthin-containing snack bar they could use as part of their meal plans. The texture of these bars is awful -- tough and difficult to chew. And, once you can actually bite off a piece of the bar, the taste is marginal at best -- no peanut butter flavor at all. It was like chewing on a piece of tough, flavorless, dried-out Tootsie Roll. Would definitely NOT recommend this - I returned the box for a refund."

Very Tasty This is an excellent meal replacer. The chocolate Macadamia nut tastes like a tootsie roll with nuts. The peanut butter tastes... well, like peanut butter. I was expecting more of a peanut taste but it is still good. It also works well for me as a meal replacer when there is not enough time to sit down to a meal.

The Bars are good I like the bars no unpleasant aftertaste. I guess I'd rather eat food though but will use these when I would otherwise eat an unhealthy snack.
