The compounds alliin and alliinase are present in separate chambers of the garlic clove. When garlic is ruptured, alliinase interacts with alliin and converts it to allicin - garlic's most beneficial compound. However, allicin dissipates quickly during standard processing techniques but Garlinase Fresh tab dissolves releasing alliin and allinase to form allicin, which is slowly released over a long period of time and absorbed into the bloodstream.
