Hard to rinse off "I found this gel un-rinseable. I admit, Im not used to gel cleansers, as I usually use cream."

Very cleansing This is a very nice facial cleanser. It doesn't soap up much but really gets the face clean without drying it out. Only a small amount cleans very well.

Good cleaner not drying I had a VERY expensive version of this from an esthetician, but found this substitute with the same active ingredient for a MUCH more reasonable cost. Alpha hydroxy is one of the few authentically effective ingredients in skin care. Ask a doctor.

almost a 5 star I would give this a 5 if they would take out the benzyl alcohol and pheno-ethanol. It does clean well without overdrying.

Fabulous "Because its a gel cleanser, it does feel as if it takes twice as long to wash your face, but the product smells great, it feels refreshing, and I have seen a noticeable difference in my skin after using this product for a month. It looks more youthful, the blemishes are going away and the number of blackheads have been significantly reduced. I was willing to take a risk for this price. Its a shame that the lotion costs almost twice as much."
