This is a great working deodorant that does smell wonderful. It does not contain aluminum which if you research is not good for your health. On the downside, I found Whole Foods stopped carrying it. When I asked why they said because it carries the chemical TEA. When I checked it out on Wikipedia it had the following posted information about it. This is the only non-aluminum deodorant that works (so far that I've found). I'm so mad that Whole Foods stopped carrying it, but oh well I'll just have to order online. Works like a charm in the worst heat A++++

This product surprised me. I didn't know if I would like this product or if it would be able to stand up to the super hot summer heat. Surprisingly, it works! I love the smell and it keeps me feeling fresh.

Amazing! I tried this one and another brand. They both work great! This one worked well beyond anything I would have expected. It kept me dry for over 24 hrs. Not only that, it kept me dry and odor free while I mowed the lawn in hot and humid summer weather! I thought for sure it wouldn't hold up but wow was I surprised. In my opinion it works better than aluminum ones. If I had to pick one bad thing I would say that the scent is a bit astringent. It's not "bad"....just not feminine...it could be used for either men or women. Highly recommend!

Best Non Aluminum Deodorant! "Alvera Deodorant is the BEST. It actually works and I have been using it for over 7 months, just about to finish off my first bottle of it. I have have been looking and testing out several natural (non Aluminum) deodorants over the years, including natural crystal sticks, and Avalon Organics brand, etc. Each and every one would work for a few days or maybe a few weeks, then eventually I would start to have BO, and would be forced back to one containing Aluminum again. But NOT ANYMORE, Alvera works just as well as my previous old standby "Ban Roll-on". I even got my girlfriend using Alvera and it works for her just as well. Our only hope is that they never stop making it, or give us advanced notice so we can buy 20 years supply of it!! Btw, our favorite scent is herbal. I like the Almond scent ok, but my girlfriend prefers the Herbal, so Im sticking with it :)"
