Erphogram 11-OXO is the first selective inhibitor of 11b-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type I reductase. 11-OXO is the trademark name for adrenosterone, an adrenal androgen. Adrenal androgen is a hormone produced by the adrenal gland that is in the same general hormonal class as testosterone.
