Himalayan crystal salt is salt in its original form, holistic, wholesome, natural, and unaltered, carefully collected exactly as it has crystallized in the earth, to maintain its pure natural qualities. It's well known that salt is critical to our existence. Every cell in the human body is dependent on sodium and potassium in just the right balance in order to properly exchange energy, into and out of the cell. There is a monumental difference between common table salt (chemically cleaned to contain just sodium and chloride) vs. Himalayan crystal salt (a balanced crystalline structure with 84 inherent minerals). Containing all of the natural minerals like: calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and sodium and trace elements like: chromium, copper, zinc, iron, manganese, iodine, sulfur, cobalt, carbon, etc... found in the human body, Himalayan crystal salt can actually be considered a food.

In 2007 Fenestra Labs conducted a study in Las Vegas, NV to test the body's reaction to common crystal salt compared with Himalayan crystal salt. A Sole solution was made for each of the test subjects. They took 1tsp. of solution mixed into an 8oz glass of water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach with nothing else consumed for a minimum of one-half hour. The conclusion of the test showed that Himalayan crystal salt is a highly effective product for the normalizing of the mineralization of the body.

Sole or Salt water solution, is simply salt dissolved into water until the water is so saturated with salt that it can no longer dissolve it.

To make your own "Sole", start with a glass jar, add Himalayan crystal salt. Then add natural spring water to the jar filling two the three inches above the salt. Let sit overnight, and then check jar if there is no more salt add more and let sit overnight again. Continue to add salt until there is always salt in the bottom of the jar. This is "Sole solution", for more information on the uses of Sole solution see the book "Water and Salt", by Peter Ferreira.

Himalayan Crystal Salt is the purest and most beneficial form of salt crystals in the world. These fine granulated crystal salt works well for salt shakers and cooking recipes.

Himalayan Salt has precise mesh with our body's inner workings because it contains an almost identical set of elements to those found inside the human body, 84 of the possible 92 trace minerals, in the same proportion as naturally exists in our blood.

Himalayan crystal salt can be consumed as a mineral water (Sole*), dissolved in a hot bath for a healthy soak and detox, or it can be put directly on your food or used in cooking. Our salt's vivid pink color is a result of the trace elements in the salt, including energy-rich iron. These naturally present minerals are essential for human health.

Due to their monthly cycles, premenopausal women need more iron. Good sources of iron are garbanzo beans, lean beef, Swiss chard, tofu and dried apricots.
