Malnutrition leads to decreased learning capacity, lower productivity, and increases mortality. It is often associated with a combination of unbalanced diet and diseases. The relationship between malnutrition and infection is common knowledge.

Malnutrition, though widespread, is gradually improving with a strong emphasis on better human nutrition. Better nutrition facilitates stronger immune system, reduction in illness and better health. Healthy people are stronger, more productive and have the ability to create better opportunities for themselves.

A sustained investment in nutrition would curtail thousands of deaths; improve intellectual capacity which eventually would lead to enormous economic gains. This comes along with the much needed health benefits, better education as well as productivity. Malnutrition eradication is the very essence of a healthy society through developing a habit of including all the essential nutrients in our daily meals
