You can try aloe vera... There is no medicine that a man can take to increase chest hair growth.

I could understand someone with NO hair folicals not being able to have their chest hair grow. But, if you have the hair folicals or a little hair on your chest wouldn't taking testastrone work? ... Or something like rogain?

I too have plenty of hair follicles or smaller hairs on my chest, yet I only seem to grow long adult hairs in the middle of my chest, while the other hairs don't seem to grow longer.
The hairy area has gotten a little bit larger in the past 5 years or so, but not anything significant
I'm 24 now, most likely done with puberty lol and am wondering if those hairs will ever grow in all the way

It's frustrating because everywhere else on my body I'm very hairy, and I grow a really good beard, so it doesn't make sense to me why the hairs on my chest are so stubborn

Men take their chest hair too seriously..If you check on the Internet, you'll come across several opinions and home remedies. Chest hair develops during and after puberty. Chest hair grow as a result of rising levels of androgens, mainly testosterone, so perhaps you get get your hormonal balance checked. That's because shaving it off once is no reason for the hair to not grow back.

Also, it isn't really a cause for concern yet, because chest hair growth can also start later, between the age of 20 and 30.

Well...growth of chest hair depends on genetic disposition, hormonal status and age of the individual..Since, there is no reason, why your chest hair shouldn't grow after shaving it off (infact, it shouldn't take more than 3 days for the hair to start showing again), you should probably visit a doctor, that is, if it is so important to you...Either ways, I think it is perfectly normal..

Hey...faced a similar problem, but mine was diagnosed as really bad infection on my chest called follicultis. I suggest you get yourself checked for that...Also see, if you can get any ointment on your chest. I used minoxidil, but then gave it up....don't care much for it anyway..

Use of Minoxidil has been known to stimulate chest hair growth. You have to use it continuously for at least six to eight months before the hair starts to grow back. Use it twice a day.

If nothing else works, and if you're really keen on chest hair, you can always go in for hair transplantation, where hair from your scalp can be transplanted onto the chest...It has been successfully done before.....But if you're in your twenties, it's worth waiting a couple more years, as chest hair is known to grow out even in later twenties and early thirties....Having said that, if the hair hasn't specifically returned after shaving it off, it could be a medical concern and warrants a visit to your doctor

well....i guess it would also depend on how much chest hair you had originally, before you shaved it off...Also, are you latin American? People of Native American Lineage usually have very les or no chest hair at all.

Chest hair results from a combination of genetics and testosterone. Both are needed for a hairy chest...You're only 24. I'd suggest..wait for a few more years for the growth to get more dense. Have heard of Minoxidil...perhaps you could try that

I read somewhere that Minoxidil is not officially approved by the FDA for application or growth of chest hair. It may have some side effects too. It's like trying your luck as there exists no proof of whether Minoxidil works or not..it's your choice!
