My job involves working long hours at computers. I hate that. I went to a seminar and learned that long walk and yoga helps in reducing stress. Is it correrct? I think they cannot cure my stress problems. It can't be so easy.

My job also requires me to work in front of a computer for long hours. I found that doing exercise can really reduce my stress, and in the days that I do not have much time for an exercise I will just take a walk in the park, that helps too.

Have you consulted with doctors to find a way that can cure your stress problem?

    Amazing...!!

Meditation and yoga are two very effective ways of coping with stress.  I've been meditating for a number of years and am currently in the process of establishing myself as a meditation instructor.

Meditation works in a number of ways.  It helps you to feel more content within yourself, and it also helps to calm and quieten your mind, making it easier to concentrate.  My best piece of advice is to give it a try - try purchasing a book on meditation and teaching yourself the basics if you're not happy forking out for meditaiton instruction to begin with.

I have a website www.health-hub.co.uk that provides links to a number of meditation resources (it's a stress management website)- check it out if you like.

You could visit the GP if your stress is chronic, but the GP *may* treat the symptoms with drugs rather than the underlying cause.

    Hi Geoffrey,

No, not that. Scientific researches proved that Yoga can cure several physical as well as psychological problems. It is closely related to Mind and Body. You should continue it. Keep patience. For better result you can use Ashwagandha capsule. I know it is very useful for increasing the stamina and being an ayurvedic medicine it has no side effects.

    Best of Luck!
