We are honoured with a very experienced and accomplished Guest Speaker, Lorrie Hall. Lorrie obtained her BSC at Weber State College in Ogden, Utah, and her Masters at the University of Utah in Medical Science. She Graduated from the Dee Memorial Hospital School of Nursing also in Ogden Utah. Lorrie Hall has been a registered nurse for many years. She has worked at several hospitals as a Registered Nurse and also as a surgical assistant to the renowned Thoracic Surgeon, Dr. Harold Marshall, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.I.C.S., (a pioneer in open-heart surgery). She has retired from actively working in the nursing profession but maintains her license, registration, and certification and her numerous professional contacts. She is very active in secondary medical research, and collaborates frequently with medical doctors and health professionals on health and wellness around the U.S. on ground breaking medical research and science and medical and health related developments. She speaks, lectures, and consults on health and wellness within the area of her studies and experience. Her business background includes owning and operating a large wholesale medical and welding supply business operating in the multi-state area of Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Nevada and Arizona one of the major suppliers to the Fortune 500 Corporations and Contractors that were building the Alaska Pipeline. Also later she owned and operated a travel agency in Salt Lake City and a music store for 3 years, Keyboards Inc., also in SLC. She has served on the Board of Directors for one of the largest suppliers of a medical and welding supplier operating as Nasco Inc. headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota and operating in the states of Nevada, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Louisiana. Her Civic work includes all offices of the Elks Lodge, and was ultimately elected to serve as the Exalted Ruler of Elks Lodges in the states of Utah, Idaho and Wyoming. She served as the president of the Home Owners Association for Pheasant Brook Condominiums in Salt Lake City for three consecutive three-year terms (9 years). Served as the Director of Camping for the Camp Fire Girls of America for 5 years in the states of Nebraska, Utah, Montana and Idaho. With a minor in music, she has taught piano and organ lessons for well over 20 years, and is currently serving as the church organist at her church in San Antonio, Texas. Presently she is building her independent-distributor XanGo business. Lorrie Hall is focusing her secondary research and lecturing on the 40 years of heavy scientific and medical research of the natural health benefits of powerful all natural anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatories in the Xanthones, Catechins and polyphenols, that are now coming heavily to the forefront in the US. and world wide.
