Around July, I became accidently pregnant so I decided to have a medication abortion with Mifepristone and Misoprostol. After the procedure was done and everything had gone well, I was given Yaz Birth Control (Drospirenone and Ethinyl Estradiol). This is the first time in my life I have taken birth control, and I have only been taking it for approximately two months. When I began my second pack (second month), I began to have some mild leg pains in both of my thighs. I have never had these pains before and it has happened approximately 5 or 6 times, one time being worse than the others and hurting for more than 6 hours and seeming to hurt more in one leg than the other. My question is - can this leg pain be attributed to the birth control or the abortion procedure? I cannot distinguish because I started the birth control when I began menstruating again after the procedure. I mentioned it to my Family Planning nurse but she did not say anything was bad about it perse...I am worried though. I am starting different bc in a week or so, but I am worried that the abortion has done to me or the pills are causing this pain.
